Terms and Conditions (T&Cs)
1. General
Welcome to RGS Parts.
These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our website, our quotations, orders, and all services provided by RGS Parts.
By accessing our website, requesting a quotation, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please refrain from using our website and services.
2. Our Business Model
RGS Parts specializes in the sourcing and export of genuine OEM and premium aftermarket vehicle parts from Germany.
Most products are sourced specifically upon customer request and are therefore not held in regular stock.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, procurement begins only after:
- The customer has accepted the quotation; and
- Full payment has been received and confirmed by RGS Parts.
Every quotation is individually prepared based on the vehicle information and spare part details provided by the customer to ensure the highest possible level of accuracy and compatibility.
3. Quotations
All quotations are prepared individually and are based on the information provided by the customer.
Unless otherwise stated, quotations remain valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue.
After this period, prices may change due to factors including, but not limited to:
- Supplier price adjustments
- Exchange rate fluctuations
- Shipping cost changes
- Market conditions
A revised quotation may therefore be required.
4. Orders & Payment
An order becomes legally binding only when:
- The customer has accepted the quotation; and
- Full payment has been received by RGS Parts, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All prices are quoted in Euro (EUR) unless otherwise stated in the quotation.
Once payment has been confirmed, RGS Parts begins sourcing the requested spare parts through its established supplier network.
As many spare parts are procured specifically for each customer, cancellations are generally no longer possible once procurement from the supplier has commenced.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information to enable the correct identification of the required spare part.
Whenever possible, we recommend providing the following information:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- OEM Part Number
- Vehicle Manufacturer, Model, and Year of Manufacture
- Engine Type or Engine Code
- Photographs of the required spare part, where available
Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in delays or the selection of an incorrect or incompatible spare part.
6. Incorrect Customer Information
If an incorrect spare part is sourced due to inaccurate, incomplete, or conflicting information provided by the customer, RGS Parts will make every reasonable effort to assist in finding an appropriate solution.
Any additional costs arising from such circumstances shall be borne by the customer.
These costs may include, but are not limited to:
- Price differences between replacement parts
- Additional shipping costs
- Return shipping costs
- Supplier processing or restocking fees, where applicable
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Governmental charges or administrative fees
Although RGS Parts carefully verifies compatibility based on the information provided, the customer remains solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all vehicle information.
7. Shipping
Shipping costs, estimated delivery times, and available shipping methods are specified in each individual quotation.
Order processing begins once:
- Payment has been confirmed
- The requested spare part has been successfully sourced
- The shipment has been prepared for dispatch
The shipping and import conditions applicable to each order are individually reviewed and specified in the quotation.
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing in the quotation, the customer is responsible for all import duties, customs duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, and other governmental charges arising in the destination country.
For certain orders, RGS Parts may offer a shipping option that allows the import costs to be determined before shipment and included in the individual quotation. In this case, the customer pays the agreed import costs in advance to RGS Parts. RGS Parts then arranges the corresponding handling through the selected shipping provider.
Alternatively, the customer may pay the applicable import duties, taxes, and other import costs directly in the destination country as part of the import clearance process.
Whether advance payment and handling of import costs through RGS Parts is available depends in particular on the spare parts ordered, the value and type of goods, the destination country, the selected shipping provider, and the applicable customs and import regulations.
The applicable option and the corresponding costs will be clearly stated in the individual quotation before the order is confirmed.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and do not constitute legally binding delivery dates.
Delays caused by suppliers, shipping providers, customs authorities, weather conditions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control shall not constitute a breach of contract.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation together with your shipment tracking information.
8. Warranty
Unless otherwise specified, the statutory warranty rights provided under applicable law apply to all products supplied by RGS Parts. Where applicable, any manufacturer's warranty shall also apply.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Incorrect installation
- Improper use
- Normal wear and tear
- Unauthorized modifications
- Use outside the intended purpose
We strongly recommend that all spare parts be installed by qualified automotive professionals.
To assess a warranty claim, RGS Parts may request photographs, supporting documentation, or the return of the product for inspection before a final decision can be made.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RGS Parts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, arising from the use of our products or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by mandatory law.

These General Terms and Conditions and all contractual relationships between RGS Parts and its customers shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) shall not apply.
Should any provision of these Terms be found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Important Notice
RGS Parts reserves the right to update or amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time to reflect changes in applicable laws, business operations, shipping procedures, or the continuous improvement of our services.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the version of these General Terms and Conditions in effect at the time an order is placed shall apply to your purchase.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
